Basingstoke’s MP, Maria Miller, visited Cornerstone Nursey to meet nursery staff and children, and to discuss the Government’s expansion to childcare support.
Maria said, “It was great to visit Cornerstone Nursery and it’s really positive to hear that the extra fifteen hours of Government funded childcare for two-year-olds is well received by Basingstoke parents.
“The government’s recently announced expansion to childcare support is the largest in history, providing real help for working people, and it is great to see parents who use childcare at Cornerstone already benefitting from this additional support.”
