Local MP Maria Miller welcomes additional government funding for 'Stop Domestic Abuse Hampshire'

Stop Domestic Abuse Hampshire a local charity supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Basingstoke’s MP, Maria Miller has welcomed additional government funding of £291,608 from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation: MHCLG COVID-19 Emergency Support Fund.

Maria said, “With more victims of domestic violence coming forward through the period of the pandemic this additional funding for ‘Stop Domestic Abuse’ is very welcome and will help fund the expansions to local services that have been made.”
