Every year in Hampshire there are more than 30,000 reports of domestic abuse, making it the largest reported crime in the county. Official statistics show that domestic abuse accounts for 15% of all recorded crime nationally and affects nearly 2 million people each year.
Maria Miller local MP wants all schools to be "good" or "outstanding".
Currently 90% of Basingstoke schools are good or outstanding (up from 52% in 2010) but Maria wants to see 100% of Basingstoke children being given the opportunity of the best education.
