Maria said, "On the 29th of February I will be hosting one of my regular community chats on the new Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital between 7.30-9. The Department of Health and Social Care have confirmed that it will be funded to the tune of £700-900 million and we are currently in the public consultation phase of the programme.
‘’The Chief Executive of the Hospital, a hospital governor and other leading figures from the NHS will be on the panel to take questions from the audience. Please do come along and give your view on the plans for the new hospital consultation.
‘’Our new hospital is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our town and it is really important that local residents and the local press are in attendance so that our community has every opportunity to ensure the new hospital meets Basingstoke’s needs.
