Maria Miller MP visited the Basingstoke and Deane Over 55s Forum at one of their regular meetings, along with representatives from the NHS, to talk to members about Basingstoke’s new Hospital.
Maria said, “It was fantastic to join so many members of the Over 55s Forum at their recent meeting. The event gave forum members the opportunity to hear about the details of the new Hospital project, understand the importance of the public consultation and to ask questions to local NHS representatives.
“Basingstoke’s new Hospital will revolutionise healthcare in our town and is the largest healthcare infrastructure investment in Basingstoke’s history, so it is important that all residents have their say on the consultation currently underway.
“Residents have until Midnight on the 17th of March to take part in the consultation and I strongly encourage everyone that has not already shared their thoughts to do so. More information, including how to participate in the consultation, can be found on the Hampshire Together website.
“If your local community group would like to hear more about the Hospital project, please get in contact with the Hampshire Together team via email at [email protected] or by telephone on 0300 561 0905.”
